East Massapequa is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) located within the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, New York, in the New York City Metropolitan Area, United States. The hamlet lies in New York's 3rd congressional district. The most eastern third portion of East Massapequa (within the Amityville School District) was previously the hamlet of West Amityville.

East Massapequa has a total area of 3.6 square miles (9.3 km2), of which the land area is 3.5 square miles (9.1 km2) and water covers 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) or (2.51%). It is bordered by Massapequa Park to the west, South Farmingdale to the north, North Amityville and Amityville to the east, to the south is the South Oyster Bay. Sunrise Highway passes through the midpoint of the hamlet. Carmans Road runs north-south between Southern State Parkway and Sunrise Highway. Sunrise Highway towards east splits with 27A. Merrick Road is the main road that passes through the central area of the hamlet with Carman Mill Road and Unqua Road connecting it to Sunrise Highway.

It is home to several parks and attractions such as H.Garrick Williams Park from the northeast, Field of Dreams Park and Long Island Sports Dome along the Sunrise Highway, taking Unqua Road leads to Marjorie R. Post Community Park, then to the east of Merrick Road, John J Burns Park is located. At the southeastern-most part is the Nassau Shores Bayfront Park. Riviera Waterfront Mansion is at 200 E Shore Dr. Peninsula Golf Club at 50 Nassau Rd is the only golf course within the hamlet. Also along the Unqua Road is the location of Unqua Elementary School. The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles is likewise along Carmans Road, Our Lady of Lourdes is the nearby place of worship.
