Laurel Hollow is a village in the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County of New York state, on the north shore of Long Island. The village has a total area of 3.1 square miles (8.0 km2), of which 2.9 square miles (7.5 km2) is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2) is water.
The village is situated in Nassau County and creates a portion of Nassau's eastern border with Suffolk County namely Cold Spring Harbor in the east and West Hills in the southeast. The rest of the bordering villages are located in Nassau County namely Cove Neck in the north, Oyster Bay Cove in west, and Woodbury in the south direction.
Route 25A passes through Laurel Hollow that becomes N Hempstead Turnpike which covers a distance of about 1.57 mi (2.53 km) towards Harbor Rd in Cold Spring Harbor. Cold Spring Beach is located in the village which you can get to by taking Bungtown Rd north of Route 25A. At the northern end of the village is Laurel Hollow Private Beach at 1492 Laurel Hollow Rd. West Side Elementary School is at 1597 Laurel Hollow Rd along the main road is Scarsella's Florist.
