Shinnecock Hills is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Suffolk County, New York, United States. Shinnecock Hills is in the Town of Southampton. It is the home of a leading golf club, Shinnecock Hills Golf Club. has a total area of 3.1 square miles (7.9 km2), of which 2.9 square miles (7.4 km2) is land and 0.19 square miles (0.5 km2) is water and the highest point is 141 feet (43 m) above sea level.

Shinnecock Hills is surrounded by Peconic Bay to the north and Shinnecock Bay to the south connected by Shinnecock Canal. Bordering the west is the adjacent hamlet of Hampton Bays and to the east are the CDC Art Village and the Town of Southampton.

The Sunrise Highway serves the hamlet and forms a natural border to the north. Montauk Highway serves and passes through the south. Along the Sunrise Highway, to the north is the Cold Springs Pond.
