Sagaponack /sæɡəˈpɒnək/ is a village in the Town of Southampton in Suffolk County, New York, United States, on the East End of Long Island. It covers a land area of 4.41 sq mi (11.42 km2) and a water area of only 0.25 sq mi (0.64 km2) for a total of 4.65 sq mi (12.06 km2).
Towards the west is Bridgehampton and on the east is Wainscott. Up north and onwards sits Sag Harbor and facing the south is the Atlantic Ocean.
Two major roads intersect in the northwest part of the village: The Montauk Highway that travels west-east and the Sagg Rd in the north and Sagg Main St in the south. Nearby is the Poxabogue Pond, sitting right on top is Poxabogue County Park. Other preserves within the village are the Smith Corner Preserve, The Madoo Conservancy and Sagg Swamp Nature Preserve which can be reached from Sagg Main Street then head west taking Sagaponack Road if you’re coming from the center of the village. Continuing down south from Sagg Main Street lies Sagg Main Beach and Gibson Beach which is about 2.36 mi (3.80 km) from the intersection.
