North Patchogue is a hamlet and census-designated place in Suffolk County, New York, United States. It has a total area of 2.0 sq mi (5.3 km2), most of it being land and only about 0.04 sq mi (0.1 km2) or 2.57% is water.
North Patchogue is near the interchange of NY-27 (with Sunrise Highway on the south within the border), and NY-112 (Medford Avenue right on the east border). It is also bordered by W Woodside Ave in the north, which adjoins Waverly Ave in the southwest (about 1 km outside the northwest border). South of the hamlet lies Patchogue that is crossed by taking Waverly Ave if starting from the northwest and N Ocean Ave from the north.
North Patchogue is also the home of two waterways that flow into the Patchogue Lake and River, one of which is Canaan Lake.
Food establishments within the border include Rudi's Bar & Grill, 5 Brothers Fried Chicken & Waffles, Pizza Hut, Jiffy Lube, Burger King, and Rosita Deli & Grocery. Patchogue Animal Hospital also sits at 246 Medford Ave. Places of worship in North Patchogue are all found in N Ocean Ave including First Baptist Church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Adams E Craig, The Lutheran Church of Our Savior and Christian Science Church.
