East Patchogue is in the Suffolk County town of Brookhaven, New York, United States. It has a total area of 8.5 square miles (22 km2), of which, 8.3 square miles (21 km2) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2) of it (1.89%) is water.
It is bordered in the east by both Bellport and North Bellport, Medford is located in the north, Patchogue being the shopping and commerce hub sits in the west, and Patchogue Bay in the south.
Sunrise Highway is the only controlled-access freeway that runs through East Patchogue in the northern part of the village. From the east, it enters/exits through Sunrise Highway North Service Road, and in the west by Sunrise Highway South Service Road, both of which link to Hospital Road. The south part of Hospital Road is populated with medical buildings including Long Island Community Hospital, RMA Long Island IVF, ProHEALTH Suffolk OBGYN, ENT, and Allergy Associates - East Patchogue. It meets with Sills Road which exits to Medford and Yaphank in the northeast and links Montauk Highway heading southwest.
Attractions are the Swan River Preserve, Hedges Creek County Park, Hallock Park - Pat-Med Football & Lacrosse Complex, SJC's Outdoor Field Complex. Place of worship including Patchogue Church of Christ, Good News Church of Jesus, and Victory Church of God. Schools such as Verne W Critz Elementary School and South Country Central School.
