For a town with an average population of 7,000 people, Amityville is home to many churches, one such church is St Paul's Lutheran Church in the heart of downtown Amityville. This church was built in 1887 and currently holds a service every Sunday morning at 11:00 am. The clergy assigned to St Pauls Lutheran Church are the Rev. Gerald Eisele, Pastor; Deacon David Gifford, Parish Assistant; Mrs. Linda Kirchenbauer, Parish Secretary; and Mr. Stephen Krajewski, Lay Leader of Stewardship Committee and Vestry Member. These individuals have been very involved with the community for many years! One example is that Father Gerald has helped out with events such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt for over 30 years now!
St. Paul's Lutheran Church also provides services all throughout the week including a Wednesday evening Bible Study group from October through May at the church.
