Amityville Public Library

Amityville Public Library is a great place for the residents of Amityville to come and enjoy many services. Not only does it provide books, movies, magazines, databases, and internet access but it also has community programs that are geared towards children and adults alike. One of the most popular activities is Story Time which takes place every Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the Children's Room.

The Amityville Public Library offers a variety of programs for all ages, including storytime and toddler playtime on Saturday mornings. For adults, we have various classes pertaining to subjects such as computer literacy, English as a second language, yoga, and many more!

All ages are welcome! In addition to these programs, there are several other events coming up soon including Halloween Bingo on October 31st (ages 5+).

Many libraries are starting to respond to the COVID crisis by implementing ways in order to ensure public safety. Amityville Public Library is no exception, they have implemented a couple of rules that help with this such as not allowing outside food or drink into the building and also having an enforced rule against using cell phones while inside the library. This is an effort to ensure that a library is a place where people can enjoy themselves safely.

The Amityville Public Library is a wonderful place to go and study, learn about your community's history, or just read a good book. Located at 19 John St, Amityville, NY 11701 the library is open on weekdays from 9:00 am-8:00 pm throughout Monday to Saturday.

Between September and June, they're open later than usual until midnight every night. Visitors are also welcome weekday evenings after 18:00hrs with no restrictions on Saturdays or Sundays before 13:00 pm.

The library has an extensive selection of books for all ages which cover many different topics like science fiction, romance novels, biographies, and more! You can also find DVDs here too; there are plenty of action movies to choose from as well as some children's films that will keep the kids entertained for hours! There are public computers with internet access available inside the library. If printing is what you need for your work, the library has a public printer available to use as well!

There are plenty of books to choose from, and you can also check out DVDs or music CDs. You're welcome to bring in your laptop or tablet for use on our free WiFi while visiting the library. Parking is available in the library lot or at one of the parking lots on Broadway Ave.

The library has been open for over 100 years and is a great place to come in the summer when it can be hot outside. With plenty of fans circulating air, you'll stay cool as well! They host many different events like storytime on Friday mornings at 11:00 am, so make sure to stop by soon and see what's happening next week!

The best times to visit are during off-peak hours because this will help avoid overcrowding. But if there is an event going on that you want to attend don't worry. You can then just come back later.
