Why should you care about keeping your rugs looking new? Area rugs are an important part of keeping your home clean and fresh. When people think about air filters, they typically picture the ones that go in ducts or vents - not something like an area rug! Area rugs act as a filter for the dirtiness from outside coming inside so it doesn't circulate around your home but rather stays in yur rug.

If you want to keep your floors looking beautiful and have cleaner air circulating throughout the home  then we recommend having us take care of your rug cleaning.

Area Rug Cleaning

If there's one thing we know, it's how important it is for people to keep their homes looking fresh and clean. Which means taking care of all surfaces including rugs.

Area rug cleaning is the process of using water-based solutions to remove dirt and grime from rugs to make them look new again. This type of cleaning can be difficult because it often requires a professional with special training in order to be successfull.

The Latest Rug Cleaning Techniques

One of the most important things that our team does is use the latest rug cleaning techniques to ensure your home's rugs are clean and free from dirt, dust, grime and allergens. Our professionals will use different methods in order to provide you with a safe area rug cleaning service. Not only do we offer great equipment but also some of the best prices on services like this because we want all people who need rug cleaning solutions for their homes to not worry about how they're going to pay for them.

Our Area Rug Cleaning Process

Our area rug cleaning process is a multi-step system that relies on the right equipment and solution in order to get the best resultsn. So what should you expect when you hire us to clean your rug?

All Area Rugs Are Pre-inspected Prior To Cleaning

We don't start cleaning your rug until we pre-inspect prior to cleaning. This is a crucial step in the process because it gives us an idea of what type of cleaning solution we need to use, and it also helps determine if any pre-treatment is needed.

We will evaluate the size and type of rug you need cleaned in order to determine which heavy duty machines are best utilized to get it looking new again. And don't worry, there's no need to be concerened with damages. We have been cleaning rugs since the late 90s.

Dust Is Removed From The Area Rug

After the pre-inspection we will use a powerful vacuum to remove any loose dirt and dust particles that have accumulated in your rug.

Your Rug Is Methodically Cleaned

Next, we clean your rug with our special process, which is designed specifically for your rug type. This step includes the manual cleaning of stains on your area rugs, and deep fabric penetration to remove any dirt that has seeped down into it.

We'll use one of two solutions. One uses hot water extraction and the second method is dry foam extraction.

Hot Water Extraction

The hot water solution is designed to dissolve and remove any build-up of dirt that has seeped into the fibers. It also helps break down grease, oil, and food stains as it's powerful enough for tough jobs like this.

Your rug will then be immersed in heated water up to around 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82° Celsius). The high temperature loosens soil particles from your carpet pile which are then drawn out by vacuum extraction. This process can take several hours depending on how dirty the rug was at first.

Dry Foam Extraction

The other method that we use is dry foam extraction.

The dry foam method is mainly used for cleaning high-trafficed rugs in commercial spaces and non-delicate rugs. The soap solution will be applied to the rug with a machine called an extractor which sprays it on using many small jets of air and foam. This process can get deep down into your carpet pile faster than hot water extraction because the foam soaks in rather than being drawn out by vacuum.

Both methods remove germs and bacteria from your rugs but we do recommend going with the hot water extraction method as this removes soil more effectively due to its higher temperature. However, if you're looking for fast results without spending too much money then dry foam treatment could be a better option.

Although it will really depend on what is needed to get your rug clean and looking fantastic. We will always recommend the method that will provide the best results.

Once the rug has been cleaned, we'll use our vacuum to suck up loose dirt and debris that could have come out during the process! And don't worry about any residual stains as we will go over the rug again and again to make suere they all come out. Even if it's a tough stain like pet odors or vomit from kids' birthday parties gone wrong! Lastly, your rugs will be dried using air movers and heat lamps. Or they will be put in a special rug drying room, depending on how big the rug is and depending on the time of the year.

Why Not Add A Rug Protector Solution

We also offer a rug protector solution that can be used on any type of rug. It will protect your rug from spills and help it stay cleaner for longer! We know how important it is to keep our rugs looking their best. Just ask us about this when you call for a quote.

So whatever style you have we will be able to help keep it looking its best!

How Long Does Professional Rug Cleaning Take?

It can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days. It totally depends on the size and style of the rug. If the rug can be cleaned at the premesis or if it needs to be taken away. Plus how long the drying period will take. Naturally when it’s winter it will take longer to dry.

How Much Does Rug Cleaning Cost?

Great question! Every rug is different so you should call us for a free quote and we will be happy to help.

Do-It-Yourself Area Rug Cleaning

Should you try to clean a rug yourself? The answer is no and here's why :

  1. You might not know how to get the stains out. It's better for professionals like us who have equipment and chemicals that will do a more thorough job at getting all those dirt particles out. And we use environmentally safe products as well!
  2. It also takes too long for your rug to dry on its own because it needs ventilation but you can't really move it around. If it doesn't dry properly you might get mold and  mildew. If you have a large rug that you’re cleaning in the winter you will likely need a heated drying room you won’t have access to.
  3. You might not know how to identify stains on the rug such as food or wine, so you could end up making it worse by adding more dirt and grime with your efforts.
  4. A do-it-yourselfer will have a hard time getting all of those tough spots out because they can't get down on their hands and knees (not recommended) in order to reach them--again this is where we come in!
  5. It will cost you more or even worse. If you add up the cost of hiring the right equipment. Buying the chemicals. The time that you will need to get everything done. It could cost you even more than just having a professional company clean the rug.

And a word of caution. If you don’t have years of experience and know how to clean rugs properly you might end up toitally running your rug. That means it will have to be thrown out. A costlky mistake!
